I meet her on a flight to Los Angeles to shoot Waldo and Karla’s wedding. It’s funny the way people are brought into your life. I boarded the plane, place my bags in the overhead compartment and slowly adjusted my body into my seat. It was a late flight and I was exhausted. She was already seated next to me. I greeted her with a warm smile and began to open my magazine. I don’t remember exactly how we started our conversation. She asked me what I was going to Los Angeles for and I simply explained to her that I am a wedding photographer and was heading to shoot a wedding. She was on her way to visit John for the long weekend, since he was in LA for work. We started talking about life and weddings. After our plane landed at LAX we said our good byes and went out separate ways.
A few months went by when I received Christina’s inquiry. I was excited to hear from her and more than excited to be part of her and John’s special day. John and Christina got married a few weeks ago on the campus of Ga Tech with a small intimate wedding. The day could not have been any perfect. I had a blast with their friends and families. John and Christina, thank you so much for giving me the chance to live out my dreams. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both. It means so much that I was able to be part of your special day!!
Christina surprised John with a pre-wedidng gift. I thought that was so special of her. Here is John opening up his gift for the first time. Love his expression!
